Alpine skiing is a tradition around Bad Urach. As soon as enough snow has fallen, you have the choice of a whole range of skil ifts. Regardless of whether you want to go tobogganing with the family, try out your new carvers on prepared slopes or do a few lanes on your board, anything is possible here. The evening floodlights mean you can carry on into the evening on illuminated slopes, followed of course by a stop at the restaurant next to the ski lift.
And here too the motto prevails: A great Bad Urach ski weekend has only really come to an end once you have warmed up again and recovered after a day's skiing on the Alb in the warm thermal mineral waters of the AlbThermen.

Snow is not certain on the Swabian Alb as it is a low mountain region. However, in the event of suitable snow conditions, there are good wintersport facilities (alpine and cross-country) from the middle of December to the middle of March.
